This looks like a great release, especially the ability to import/export and the HTML field.

So glad I made the purchase when I did :)

when do you think the new release is coming out? is it within a few days so I can wait for the official update or should I download this one if it's gonna take a long time to get the final release?

I really dig some of the new functionality (especially the ability to add HTML within the form) and I'm in the process of designing some forms at the moment, so I want to re-design / modify them when the new release come out.

The advanced training webinar has nothing to do with us or our documentation. We aren't directly affiliates with WebDesign.com, it is an iThemes.com project. We also have no financial stake in the training webinars, it's completely independent of us. They like Gravity Forms and saw value in offering training classes for their users.

Documentation is always helpful and we will be expanding the available documentation. HOWEVER for less experienced users and developers, documentation isn't a good substitute for proper hands on training. The subject matter associated with the $79 training class is more advanced usage of the plugin for people that don't have the WordPress or PHP know how. Gravity Forms form and post functionality can be used in so many ways that we can't possibly document all of them in a sufficient manner. An instructor is present, leads the training and people can ask questions during the webinar.

Adobe Photoshop is well documented with numerous books available, but there are still training classes that are conducted for it. Documentation and training are not the same thing. While we do provide documentation and will be expanding upon our documentation, we aren't going to get into training or providing training. Thats not what we do and it's better left to those that do it for a living.

Beta 1 has a known issue with Conditional Logic that is related to a bug with the Conditional Logic submit functionality that was added interfering with field level Conditional Logic. This will be corrected in Beta 2 which will be released Monday or Tuesday. Try it again then, if the issue you are experiencing is related to that particular bug then it should clear up the issue.

I'm having a big problem with this iteration.

I'm using Conditional Logic two levels deep. From a drop-down to a checkbox to a file upload, using the correct fields.

It won't play nice with WP3.0 so I'm reverting to the stable build. Look forward to this having been road tested properly.

Kevin and the crew - I think you should think about how you can do something similar for those among your clients owning developer licenses. The very thought I have to pay $79 to learn stuff that should really be in the documentation worries me.

Hope you'll look into this.

Thanks for making a stellar product!

Custom Post Types are planned for the next release, be it 1.3.14 or 1.4 depending on which direction we go in with the version number. We still have to work out how we are going to implement Custom Taxonomy support. Adding Custom Post Types are easy but with it we need to provide good support for Custom Taxonomies that people would use with the Custom Post Types... so we need to work out the best UI for controlling those on the Post Tag and Post Category fields. So it is coming, but it won't be until the next feature release after 1.3.13.
