Thank you Chris. This works great for my form. However, How would I also include the css currency symbol on the forms' submitted data page, and in the email submission?

thank you

Here is my use case:

I have a form which i use in the website to enable users to sign up for a variety of trainings which all have different prices. Of course, I want to be use a single form because the number of trainings goes as high up as 200. So, I need to be able to dynamically populate the form's pricing field. And use shortcode to display different forms with different prices. But as soon as I enable pricing field to be dynamically populated, a user can easily change the value on the browser and use different price instead.

What is the correct approach for this?

I'm trying to set up a form for users to buy a product but only have to pay an initial deposit at first, the remainder being paid later. So for instance if a product costs £100 and the deposit is £10, then if they order 5 items they would need to pay £50.

I'm happy to set up and send a paypal invoice for the balance but it would be great if gravity forms could process the deposit - unfortunately I can't find a good way. What I was thinking is to have a number field for quantity and then two more number fields with calculations to work out the deposit and total price, but then how do I get the deposit sent to PayPal? It seems to only accept prices from product fields and these don't allow calculations. Any suggestions?

EDIT: ok, so it looks like a pricing field can be a calculation but when I do that it just submits the form and doesn't get sent to paypal

Thanks Cflare,

I just posted an ad in the Jobboard section of the forum...maybe a programmer can work with it.

From what I gather, the :value field is only available in the notifications and not the conditions of the form.

If the wrong total is being sent to PayPal, then the form is most likely configured incorrectly. We won't be able to see how it's configured from here, but you can use our logging add-on to help troubleshoot the problem. You can download it here http://www.gravityhelp.com/downloads/#Gravity_Forms_Logging_Tool

Also, since you are a developer license holder, you can submit a priority support request here http://www.gravityhelp.com/priority-support/

Help! I know this is an old post but I encounter exactly the same problem I think...

I use this formula in the product calculations:

( {Field:11:value} * {Aantal:16} ) * 0.16

Field11:value is the nr of products from a dropdown product, eg:
value = 3 price= $100

{Aantal:16} is a quantity field. Lets say in this example the value is 10.

I hope to get this result:
(3 * 10 ) * 0.16 = 4.8

But this tag: {Field:11:value}
Is not getting the value (3) but the price.....

Any help please?

Thanks and many many positive karma to you

ps: running latest version of Wordpress, Woocommerce and GF.
