Advanced Conditional Logic - Can GF Do This??

  1. Hey guys,

I tried looking at the similar topics but because I haven't actually purchased the plug-in yet, I can't access the support documentation. My apologies if this has been answered before.

I run an online writing firm and am looking for GF (Developers License) to support the following checkout process:

    1. User arrives at order form
    2. Question: Pro Membership? Answers: Y or N
    3. If Y, one set of custom pricing will prepopulate for all respective service types (diff. price for each type)
    4. If N, a different set of custom pricing will prepopulate for all respective service types (diff. price for each type)
    5. User selects service type
    6. Specific fields appear depending on the service type selection
    7. One field will be word count which will have 4 selections - each selection will prepopulate a different price
    8. User checks out and pays via PayPal integration
    9. I receive email with all information (membership type, service type, detailed fields, etc)

Basically to summarize I need to be able to automatically prepopulate two different sets of service prices based on their answer to #2 (Standard or Pro Membership).

    Is this possible? Thanks!

  2. 1. User arrives at order form

    OK

    2. Question: Pro Membership? Answers: Y or N

    OK

    3. If Y, one set of custom pricing will prepopulate for all respective service types (diff. price for each type)

    Yes

    4. If N, a different set of custom pricing will prepopulate for all respective service types (diff. price for each type)

    Yes

    5. User selects service type

    OK

    6. Specific fields appear depending on the service type selection

    Yes

    7. One field will be word count which will have 4 selections - each selection will prepopulate a different price

I think so, although I am unclear exactly what this is supposed to do. Maybe like placing a classified ad and you have to count the words to arrive at a price? Yes, you can do this, although this is the most complicated part of it so far.

    8. User checks out and pays via PayPal integration

    OK

    9. I receive email with all information (membership type, service type, detailed fields, etc)

    Yes

Basically to summarize I need to be able to automatically prepopulate two different sets of service prices based on their answer to #2 (Standard or Pro Membership).

It's all possible, but the dynamic pricing based on word count is the most complex. It can be done, but we will need more details from you to help you out.
