I am having the same issue. The fields are not able to be clicked for editing.
I'm having the same issue!
Can't edit the fields because of the new Gravity Forms 1.6.3.3 update.
The only thing I can do it click and drag them.
Have you all tested for theme/plugin conflicts already?
http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict
Yes I can confirmed that I've tried this.
It still does not let me edit my fields within default Twenty Ten theme.
Can you help?
I'm also having the same problem. Also, Form Settings don't save. The only way i can save is using the update button.. Is this correct?
Tested on 20 Ten theme and deactivated all plugins but error remains.
Any suggestions please?
Is it possible to get the previous version of Gravity Forms?
Just for a quick fix until the bug is resolved...?
As I'm getting hundreds of complaints.
Thanks for the help so far.
Our lead developer is looking into this and we'll let you know what we find out as soon as we can.
Thanks Guys!
Much Appreciated!
I am having trouble replicating this issue locally. If some of you can send me an admin login to your WP dashboard to alex@rocketgenius.com, that would be very helpful.
No Problem, I'll send it over to your email address now.
Thanks
The issue is caused when you are running an older version of WordPress. It's a jQuery issue related to using an old version of jQuery.
WordPress v3.3 uses jQuery v1.7.1. Gravity Forms is using a function from jQuery v1.7.1 in the latest release and if you are encountering a problem then you are most likely running an older version of WordPress.
In the case of @rpitts454 he is using WordPress v3.2 which is using jQuery v1.6.1.
We will be releasing an update soon to provide backwards compatibility with WordPress v3.2 which uses jQuery v1.6.1. I will update this forum post once it is available on the Plugin Downloads page.
Another easy solution is one we constantly recommend to our users: Update the version of WordPress you are running to the latest release.
Try to avoid using older versions of WordPress. For compatibility reasons and security reasons you should always run the latest version of WordPress and Gravity Forms.
We try and maintain compatibility with the most recent versions of WordPress, but we do not go back very far. WordPress evolves and changes too rapidly to maintain backwards compatibility with every release. The plugin code would be bloated beyond belief if we had to maintain backwards compatibility with every version of WordPress.
This was the same issue for me (wordpress: 3.2.1). Upgraded and all works fine now
@mediagang It should in most cases. If your site is for some reasons till using an old version of jQuery after upgrading, then there could be more going on. Let us know how it goes. Either way, we'll be releasing an update later today that makes sure it's backwards compatible with WordPress 3.2.
We have released an updated version of Gravity Forms that resolves the incompatibility with jQuery v1.6.1 and WordPress 3.2. It is now available on the Plugin Downloads page and automatic update. The new version is Gravity Forms v1.6.3.3.2.
