How do you define 'Single Site'

What does a single site mean? A single domain?

I have a multisite installation with all the sub-blogs on a single domain and I am wondering if I will be forced to buy say a 3 Site License to use GF on 3 sub blogs?

  2. A single site is a single WordPress site within WordPress. A multi-site installation is multiple sites and would require multiple licenses, the Business License or the Developer License depending on how many sites you expect to have.

Each site in WordPress multi-site gets it's own Gravity Forms database tables so they are independent of each other. The way WordPress works in multi-site is each site is like it's own WordPress instance. You enter your license key on each site, although there is a helper line you can add to your wp-config.php file to pre-populate this when a site is activated in WordPress.

Trying to purchase the developer license. Will that allow me to install two Multi-site instances on the same box, same organization?
