HTML Block Does Not Have Populate Dynamically Option

  1. I am trying to dynamically populate an HTML block. According to the documentation -- http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/File:Html-advanced.png -- this is possible. However, on my version of Gravity Forms I don't have the checkbox for allowing the field to be populated. Instead I have a text input for CSS Class Name.

    Here is what I'm seeing:

  2. You're right about that. In the latest release of Gravity Forms, I don't have the option to populate HTML blocks dynamically either. I will find out when that was removed and post back here and see if there is a work around.

  3. That screenshot reflects an error on our part. That functionality was purposely never added to the HTML block element, but the option checkbox inadvertently ended up in the admin panel on one version. We removed the option, but it apparently made it’s way into the documentation along the way. I have replaced the screencap in the documentation to reflect the right information.

You can still use the “gform_pre_render” hook to pre-populate that area if desired.

    Apologies for any confusion.
