Is gravity forms for front-end forms only?

I'm developing a site for a recruitment company and I'm dreading having to train the clients to use custom fields to denote Location / Salary etc. - can I use Gravity Forms to create a custom post form in the backend i.e. a form with custom write panels?

    Thanks!

  2. Gravity Forms doesn't do this out of the box, however it would probably be possible to create your own plugin that calls Gravity Forms on the backend via the display form function call.

We do plan on looking into creating an add-on for Gravity Forms that enables it to be used for creating backend forms... but that is a ways off.

  3. I know this is an old thread, but wanted to encourage you folks to consider developing a back end post editor add-on. More and more website developers are using custom post types to make the WordPress CMS even more user friendly for their clients. Gravity Forms would be a major asset in that area!

I'd personally be willing to help code/test/pay for such an add-on...
