Upload Approval

    Hi There,
I couldnt find the answer to my specific question, and played around with the demo, but could not figure this out.

I am looking to have a form, with basic required fields, name, email etc but with photo upload.
What we would like to do is have these photos go to a moderator who will approve or reject the photos. Once they are approved, they will be presented in a gallery on the website without any of the uploaders details. These details must be kept private.

However, the admin should be able to access the photos with all the user submitted information within the system.

is this possible? And multiple photo upload is a requirement.
If it is, what version of Gravity Forms would do the job for me?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. The images will get logged in the entries area and uploaded to your site. When and how you choose to display them can be at your leisure. Right now, for multiple uploads, you would just need to place however many upload fields individually on the form.

    Thanks Rob,
That information helps. Does Gravity Forms have its own image upload area, or does it upload to the WP Media library?
May need to find another plugin that will do the approval process but for collecting the information, GF would work great.

    Thanks

  4. It loads to the WP Media Library. You can create posts out of the submissions that are labeled as Pending Review and/or Draft Status. What are your hopes for the approval process - how do you see that taking place?

This will be administered by a non technical person, so wanted to make it as easy as possible for them to approve images.

The flow would be that someone fills out a form and uploads an image (or multiple images). Once the user submits, the admin will get an email saying that there is a new submission.
The Admin will login and approve the images, and then this will show up on the site. if the images are rejected, then obviously they will not show up anywhere.

The Admin must be able to see the users submissions with their contact details and photos they uploaded.
At no time can other people coming to view the site see the submission details, they should only be able to see the photo(s) that were uploaded.
Photos can all be displayed on one page.

    Does that information help?

    Thanks

  6. Yeah that should be fine then. You could create a category or however you want to organize the posts to display and then prior to approval/publish of the post they can review it and either hit publish or edit the post as they see fit. Does that sound reasonable?
