user submission location

I am looking to have guests and registered users submit posts through a form, but I'd like the form to be embedded in a post (because each day I offer up a different topic for user submission). Can I do this? Can I send a variable to the form to determine the title of the post or a default value for the content box?

    Thanks!

  2. Yes, you can embed your forms in either posts or pages.

Yes you can set a default for the title.

Yes you can programattically set the title of the post using a variable.

Sounds like you have a very interesting use for Gravity Forms, and Gravity Forms will be able to do all these things you're asking about.

Oh, man, you might just have sold me. I spent last night trying out every dang free plugin on the planet, and nothing can do this. I'm coming after you if it doesn't work! :)

  4. You can always email me a chris@rocketgenius.com :-)

What you describe is easily achievable with Gravity Forms. And once you get into it, you will see how much more is possible. We're always here and happy to help. Please ask if you have any more questions.

Thank you. I will. I'm very excited. No more 4 am mornings testing out abandonware plugins.

  6. I have your email. I'll help you there if I can, or direct you to post at the support forums. In a lot of cases, the similar topics or tags in the sidebar are helpful, and there is more staff here than just one person's email. Thanks for your purchase and welcome.
