Add admin field

  1. I'm creating an application that requires applicants to answer several long form questions.

Is there a way to add a field that only the admin can see that allows them to insert a score next to these questions? And maybe total these scores somewhere?

  2. You can set fields so that they are Admin Only. This is the Visibility setting in the Advanced tab when editing a field. See this screenshot:

An Admin Only field will only appear on the form on the Entry Detail page. You can view the contents of that field on that page and if you edit the entry you can also populate it's value there.

As for totaling and scoring, this isn't functionality Gravity Forms currently provides. But it is a feature we plan on adding in the future. So as of now if you used Admin Only fields to associate a score with a field then you would also need to manually total these and update a Total field you have set as Admin Only.

  4. Scoring functionality - especially by a group or committee of people - would be fantastic.
