Advanced Custom Fields

  1. Has anyone ever used Gravity Forms with Elliot Condon's Advanced Custom Fields? Custom fields created with this plugin are not listed in the Custom Field "existing" dropdown.

  2. Most likely because custom fields created using the plugin are hidden because they begin with an underscore (ex. _customname). Custom fields that begin with an underscore are hidden by default and also don't appear in the custom field list. If thats the case if you know the name you can select New and just type it in.

  3. Having the same problem but with my woothemes "listings" theme's content builder. Some are showing but others are not, and the list is not updating itself. Any ideas Carl?

  4. I explained above. If the custom field name begins with an underscore then it is considered a hidden custom field and won't show up in the list in Gravity Forms. The solution is to select New and type in the custom field name.

Another thing to note is the list is also only going to show custom fields that exist in the post meta database table. Until a custom field exists with a value in the database, it doesn't really exist.
