Alphabetize Categories on Submission form

  1. Is there any way to alphabetize the categories in my dropdowns?

  2. Hi, bizarro5,

Post categories are alphabetical by name by default. The drop down in your form appears to be alphabetized as well. Are you having issues with a different drop down?

  3. I am having the same problem as well. I don't have any other drop downs. Here is the link:

  4. Hi, benzos,

Could you provide me with an admin login so I can take a look at your form setup? You can email this to me at dana@rocketgenius.com. Please include a link to this post so I know to what the email is in reference.

    Thanks.

  6. Hi, benzos,

I took a look at your form setup. Was this form created from an import or did you create a new form and add the post category field and check off categories? Was the post category field always just those selections, or did you start with all and then remove some? I haven't been able to reproduce the issue where the categories are not sorted alphabetically. I created a new form in your admin named "Rocketgenius Test" with just a post category field. I checked off the categories to match what you had and when previewed they are in order.

  7. Well maybe my form was just a bad seed then ;). I did not import the form. I checked off the categories as I made the form. Perhaps there was something to creating the categories after I created the form and then checked them off?? It never occurred to me to make a new form and see if it happened again... live and learn
