Auto-Complete Forms?

  1. Pretty simple question... I've got a client's website that I am using Gravity Forms on. They have a 'Donation Form' and asked me today if there was an easy way to allow the donation form to auto-complete so that if a 'repeat' donator ever went back to the form it would already have their information on it (minus credit card info obviously).

Is there an easy way to do this via Gravity Forms?

  2. Auto-Complete is browser controlled by the various browsers. The only way to guarantee that this information shows is if you register the User on the site by collecting all of the same information shown on your donation form and then using our custom user meta merge tag to populate the default value of each field. So when the user is logged in to the site, it will populate the fields without relying on the browser's auto complete feature.
