Im using category dropdown and checkboxes in two different forms with specific categories chosen for the fields. When i view the form live they are not in alphabetical order?
How can i fix this?
version: 1.6.12

Are any of these categories parent or child categories? It looks like some sections are in order (from "Construction Technologies" to "Transportation and Logistics" for example) but others are not. Can you post a screenshot of the drop down where you configured the category choices in the form builder?

all of the ones listed are children of one category.

In both locations, the categories are in alphabetical order.

Are you using any custom code that would affect the order of the categories?
