Dynamically populating a field

    Hi all,

    I'm having a little trouble populating a field dynamically. When I use the following code it works fine:

    But when I change the code to input a custom field with the following code it doesn't work:
    http://pastie.org/3630987

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
