Gravity Forms and Metaboxes

  1. I am looking at creating a front end using gravity forms for a recipe site I am setting up. I am using a custom post with a lot of custom metaboxes to present the recipes. I was wondering if it is possible to create a form which will submit to metaboxes using gravity.

    Hope all that made sense?

  2. Custom metaboxes in WordPRess on the post editor are just UI elements that display fields that store data in custom fields in the post_meta table. So yes, Gravity Forms can store custom field data. You would use the Custom Field under Post Fields and would have to configure it so it uses the proper custom field name, the post meta key for that field. So you would have to know what the post meta key is for your custom fields.
