Gravity Forms Not Generating Entries

Hi there. True NOOB here, so I apologize in advance if there's some simple solution to my problem.

That problem: I've got the form created and its up on my site (livingstonstreet.org) on the Contact Us page. I'm hosting this WP install locally. When I complete the form and go back to the control panel and look, there are no entries. No records in the DB either.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

  2. If there are no entries than the form is not being submitted properly. It's hard to diagnose this issue if it's running on a local install, it could be any number of things such as a problem with your permalinks, a file permissions issue, the plugin didn't activate properly and not all the database tables were created, etc.

I would start with file permissions and make sure that the gravityforms folder and all subfiles and folders are CHMOD 755.

Then I would see if the form submits properly when you go to the page via the id rather than the permalink (ex. youurl.com?p=1).

It's something specific to your local install. Being new to WordPress it may be best to install on a web host rather than locally unless you know what you are doing with the local web server configuration.

I am having this same problem right now. I am not on a local server. I know we tested the forms and they were storing data but now they are not storing to the database at all. Also no notifications go out when they are submitted. I looked at the request and response and everything looks fine there.

Here is a link to one of the forms that is not working:

  4. @jordanbrown5 The quickest way for us to assist you in determining what the issue is would be to send us a WordPress Admin login for this site via our Contact Us form and reference this forum post. We can then take a look and see what is going on.
