Gravity forms on install - Wordpress database error: mysql has gone away

    Hi

    I just tried installing gravity forms, but once i clicked activate i got Wordpress database error: mysql has gone away.

    I then click on pages, and everything is gone. I have to delete the plugin to see the pages/posts again and it really makes admin slow down and lag

    Here is a screenshot for the error.

    Ive tried deleting and reinstalling, tho the error isnt showing anymore but it still removes all posts/pages until i re delete the plugin.

    Any help much appreciated

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear about your problem, unfortunately those errors are beyond Gravity Forms control.

    WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]

    WordPress is having problems connecting to the MySQL host, that is something only your web host can help you resolve.

    Oh okay thanks.

    Spoke to host and they said that there is nothing wrong with the mysql on their end

    Do you have any other alternate solutions to fix the issue

    I installed wordpress database ping plugin and it seems to have stopped it for now.
