Help!! dynamically populate fields via shortcode not working

Hi, I have searched the posts and can't find an answer to my dilemma. I am trying to populate two fields on the same form using short code.
I started with one field & used the code:

[gravityform id="2" name="To calculate how much fabric that you require please click here." ajax="true" field_values='price_metre=22']

Which worked fine.
I then added another field like this:

[gravityform id="2" name="To calculate how much fabric that you require please click here." ajax="true" field_values='price_metre=22&pattern_repeat=1]

Then neither field worked and the code go changed on updating the post to:
[gravityform id="2" name="To calculate how much fabric that you require please click here." ajax="true"  field_values='price_metre=22?amp;Pattern_repeat=1']

So then I tried 2 codes & I have:
[gravityform id="2" name="To calculate how much fabric that you require please click here." ajax="true" ]
[gravityform id=2 field_values='price_metre=22?amp;Pattern_repeat=1']

This doesn't work either.

Not sure if this is normal for the code to get changed on update from " ' " to "&#039" or is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?

Yes...strange, I have managed to get the fields to populate dynamically, but it wasn't working before because when I set certain fields to be hidden from the front end the calculations no longer worked. Is this what should happen?

So...I have left them visible for now, and embedded the form in a product post but every time I go to the product page to test it, the entire server goes down Ooops.

Please take a look if you have, any ideas what may be causing this?

Hi Chis, thanks for the info, I have followed the instructions above and found that the gravity forms extension (plug in) is what is slowing the site down.

the form loads quickly with all other plugins activated, so my intention is to try and get a refund from woo themes for the plugin that doesn't work and hire someone to integrate the gravity form in to woo commerce, unless you have any suggestions or know how best to do this?

I am not opposed to using a different shopping cart plug in, if you know of any that integrate well with gravity forms?

No, what you are seeing is just the gravity form on the woocommerce product page.

What the woocommerce gravity forms extension claims to do is integrate the form in to the shopping cart so that effects the total that you add to your basket.

At the moment I can't do this because I have had to disable the plug in completely. The server crashed 8 times because of it !! That's why you couldn't bring the site up before.

I've also bought a price calculator from woo commerce that enables you to sell your products per metre incrimentally i.e 6.6 metres. It calculates the price correctly, but doesn't integrate with shipping weight calculation, so whether you buy 1 metre or 30 metres it still thinks that the product in the basket weighs 1 kilo. What another waste of what would otherwise have been a good plug in!!

Anyway, slowly losing my will to continue with woocommerce.

Checkout the very complicated Gravity form which is now embedded in the lightbox, it's GREAT, just need to integrate it. Very pleased with my gravity forms purchase, thank you.
