How to create Custom Post Type Drafts in WordPress from the submitted data

  1. Hello,

I've got a Custom Post Type called Story that have got a few custom fields associated with it and two taxonomies.

I would like to have a form that would ask for all the necessary info (custom taxonomies and meta fields) and on submission would create a draft post of my Custom Post Type (Story).

What is the best way to do this?

    Many thanks, Dasha

  2. How are you incorporating the taxonomies and custom fields currently, or are you asking how to get started?

  3. Hello Chris,

I was asking how to get started with it. Fortunately, I have found Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin, which works alright. It might help someone else.

    Thanks, Dasha

  4. That was going to be my recommendation. I just wasn't sure if you were using it already. Glad you found that.
