Integrate User Registration add-on with Aweber add-on?

  1. My client wants to allow site visitors to register to be "VIP members", which will give them access to certain protected pages, and also automatically add them to client's Aweber mailing list.

    1. Dev site: http://66.147.244.78/~freeshor/alexarealestate/
    2. Registration and login for public must be integrated with current theme totally.
    3. Registration must be integrated with client's Aweber list, ie, when a site visitor signs up, he will also be added to the aweber list and receive a confirming email for the aweber list.
    4. In a nutshell, site visitors should be able to register for the "members only" pages while on the site, with the result being that they now have access to protected pages and are also added to aweber list to receive client's newsletter. New members should also get email confirming login details, username and password.

I'm a Gravity Forms developer licensee, and have setup forms with Aweber integration with no problem.

It seems that a robust plugin like Gravity Forms might make it possible to integrate the two add-ons...can this be done?

  2. Well, I didn't get any response, so I simply tried it out, and it works. I followed the instructions to create a form and user registration feed. Then went into the aweber add-on page and added a new entry, selecting the same form as used for user registration. I tested it, and there is a new user added, plus I got the aweber notification.

Gravity Forms rocks, your code is impressively robust. I really expected there to be a conflict trying to use the same form for both feeds, but your code took it all in stride.

    Good job.
