Role management for each form

    Hello,

    Is there any way to assign a role management to a specific form? I can only seem to figure out a way to give a user access to all of the forms (or none of the forms).

    There is no form specific role management. The capabilities don't get that granular.

    Is there any way to assign what Forms options are available (in WP Admin) pending user-role level?

    I need Admins to (obviously) have access to add/edit/modify, but I (also obviously) need authors to at least see if any forms have been submitted?

    If you install the Members plugin by Justin Tadlock, you will be able to assign the Gravity Forms permissions however you like.

    You have access to these permissions for Gravity Forms:

    • gravityforms_create_form
    • gravityforms_delete_entries
    • gravityforms_delete_forms
    • gravityforms_edit_entries
    • gravityforms_edit_entry_notes
    • gravityforms_edit_forms
    • gravityforms_edit_settings
    • gravityforms_export_entries
    • gravityforms_uninstall
    • gravityforms_view_entries
    • gravityforms_view_entry_notes
    • gravityforms_view_settings
    • gravityforms_view_updates

    After installing the plugin, be sure to give the proper permissions to the administrator role or you won't have a Forms menu or access to the forms any more.

    Any future plans to implement some permission system into Gravity, so this feature isn't relying an an additional plugin?

    @craig Gravity Forms is designed to create and manage forms, adding role management capabilities to WordPress is outside the scope of what it does. We don't want to keep adding features and functionality to it that are outside the scope as it causes bloat. WordPress is designed to be expandable via plugins so if you want role management you install a role management plugin. That is our philosophy on this type of functionality.
