Scheduled / timed notifications

  1. Hello. I love using gravity forms and I have successfully integrated it throughout my site, including an Event Request / Recap system that populates a field marketing event calendar and updates a budget tracking tool. Pretty nifty stuff indeed. My question is, my client decided that when one of these events is "created", the want the notification email to go out to certain groups (no big deal), but they also want a "Reminder" notification to go out 48 hours prior to a scheduled event. Is there a way that anyone has been successful at using GF for timed / scheduled notifications?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. @robbennet Can you post how you were able to get the Event Submission working? We had it working with the previous version of Gravity forms but have not gotten it to work in over a month.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Gravity Forms wouldn't be the ideal place to have scheduled notifications/reminders. You would want your event application or plugin to handle such things because there is nothing in Gravity Forms to review submitted data after the fact and no way to push notifications outside the form actions.
