Sending email to users directly from Gravity Forms

  1. This is a "nice to have":

It would be nice to be able to go to a form entry that has an email address, and click Email to send them an email directly from GF.

In addition, it would be nice to have an automatic email get sent out to an entry if something in their entry status changes - for example, let's say there's a hidden field with a Yes/No value. If the value becomes Yes, then an email is triggered and sent to the email in that entry.

  2. The Entry Notes features in Gravity Forms when viewing entry details allows you to email the user. It lets you send the "Note" to the user which automatically sends it as an email.

While it's not automatic, in Gravity Forms v1.6 Beta 1 you can resend the Admin or User Notifications from the entry detail. So you could edit the entry, make changes, and then use the Resend Notifications to send the information to whoever you want.

  3. The email notes feature is good to know about! Very useful - thanks!

Re resending the notifications - sounds useful too, but would be nice to be able to send a different message when within the entries. Again, a "nice to have," since this plugin has got so many features already!
