Transfer license from site to site "not development site"

Though a someone has asked weather a license can be transferred from a development server to a different IP. This doesn't answer the question of whether a license can be transferred between two live IPs.
A hypothetical situation might involve affiliate sites. One site maintained and hosted separately requests that its main blog now be hosted by its sister site which is also maintained and hosted separately. A practical example is that a university maintains a blog for its entomology department at "someunivercity.edu/blog/entomology" and purchases a gravityForm license specifically for that entomology blog. The university then decides to have the entomology department maintain its blog separately on "someentomologyfun.edu/blog" would the license then be transferable to this different IP?

  2. Yes you can transfer it. As long as it isn't being used concurrently on both sites it will be fine. Add it to the new site and remove it from the old site.
